They're less useful when:
- Documentation is sparse or outdated — garbage in, garbage out
- Questions require judgment calls or contextual decisions that aren't documented

What to expect from accuracy
With well-maintained documentation, a properly tuned knowledge agent answers correctly 85–95% of the time. The remaining cases are usually questions the documentation doesn't actually cover — in which case the agent should say so rather than guess.
